What is an ROV (Underwater Drone)?

An ROV stands for "Remotely Operated Vehicle". This can be translated as "Remotely Operated Vehicle". The ROV is also called a UAV and/or underwater robot. It is powered by a battery with a range of 1h30 to 4 hours depending on the model. It is connected to a cable called "umbilical" which is used to communicate with the remote control and to have a visual feedback on the piloting monitor when taking pictures, images as videos. The ROV is capable of intervening in diverse and varied professional environments in order to carry out inspection and observation missions essentially. It is fast, secure and can operate in confined spaces.

OUR SERVICES PER SUBMARINE ROV

Cleaning by Underwater Robot

The OCS was first designed to be able to inspect the seabed, submerged networks and structures, or difficult-to-access underwater areas.

Thus at the heart of your sector, the inspection and expertise by ROV and underwater robot will allow your establishments to give you additional means to take underwater shots (images and videos).

Ports and harbour offices for the inspection of doors, pontoons, boat hulls, the water industry (water towers, dams, bridges, dikes, pipelines, etc.), aquaculture, insurance consulting firms to quantify and quantify disorders, the shipyards, the environment, the DRASSM (Department of Underwater and Underwater Archaeological Research) to inspect a wreck, the environment, are all areas for which, inspection and underwater expertise is a necessity.

Cleaning

Today, the traditional method of emptying thousands of cubic meters of water, cleaning, re-filling reservoirs, tanks and basins must evolve. We can no longer afford to waste water, which is a perishable and vital element of man.

This is why AIRSUB Drone offers a cleaning and suction service thanks to underwater robots capable of vacuuming sediment from the bottom of reservoirs, tanks, water storage basins or other fluids (industrial, fire, drinking, irrigation, fish farming, etc.) without prior emptying.

They are remotely controlled, equipped with a built-in pump, immerse in the water to suck up the sediment and discharge it to the outside with a hose equipped with floats. In order to avoid water loss during suction, the filter bag system is put in place to collect the sediments where the water can reintegrate its container by micro-perforations of the geo-synthetic solution. These sediments may be recycled and/or reused for other purposes.

Our strengths:

  • Innovation
  • Respect for the environment
  • Secure method
  • Economy

This type of solution is intended for all companies and industries that have reservoirs, basins, water retention tanks or other fluids (e.g.: fire, cooling, production, etc.), the agricultural sector (e.g., irrigation basins), local authorities (ex: fire or storm basins in artisanal areas), the water industry (ex: water towers), fish farming, aquariums, water parks and many other sectors.

OUR SERVICES BY AQUATIC DRONE

AQUATIC PRELEVEMENT

At the request of our customers, we have designed a simple, efficient and robust water sampling solution, capable of taking samples at sea despite waves, as well as on all types of water bodies up to 500 meters from the shore.

The peristaltic pump allows to collect 500 ml in less than 15 seconds. Our drone is designed to be easily implemented by staff and requires no special training. It is very easy to drive and its two powerful engines allow a quick and efficient return to the bank.

This drone is particularly suitable for communities that have to take samples from their bathing site.
